Nancy has more than 20 years experience in strategic planning, product management, and business development, primarily in the digital publishing industry. Her work experience encompasses stints at both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, where she has often held international business development roles. She holds a B.S in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
A passionate reader and writer from the time she had the dexterity to turn the pages of Little Golden Books herself, Nancy began publishing essays in 2005 and leveraged that experience into a freelance journalism and editorial career. Her feature writing and profiles have appeared in publications including The San Francisco Chronicle, EContent Magazine, Information Today, and her essays and humor writing appear in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, The Toast, The Rumpus, and her own blog, Midlife Mixtape. She does frequent readings at events like San Francisco’s literary festival Litquake, The Basement Series, and appeared in the 2013 San Francisco cast of Listen To Your Mother.
